Step 1. Open quicken software
Step 2. Click on TOOLS
Step 3. Click on ACCOUNT LIST (or press keyboard shortcut CTRL+A).
Step 4. Select the account you want to delete
Step 5. Click on EDIT.
Step 6. Now, a new window will be open title ACCOUNT DETAIL on the bottom left side of the window.
Step 7. Click on DELETE ACCOUNT.
Step 8. Type YES in the delete account window
Step 9. Now click on OK to delete your account permanently
