Step 4. Tap Manage Accounts
Step 5. Tap Edit.
Step 6. Now, click on REMOVE to the right of an account your want to delete.
Step 7. Again, tap on REMOVE when prompted. Meanwhile, doing so will get your account remove from the Yahoo Mail app, but the account will not be permanently deleted.
So if you want to permanently delete your account, please follow this second method.
Cancel your Account through their Website
Follow these steps below:
Step 1. Go to the following URL “https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_user” on any browser of your choice.
Step 2. Enter your Email Address.
Step 3. Click on NEXT to continue.
Step 4. Now, enter your password.
Step 5. Click on Sign in.
Step 6. Immediately, you will be taken to the account deletion page.
Step 7. Now scroll down and click CONTINUE.
Step 8. Confirm your identity by entering your EMAIL ADDRESS.
Step 9. Now, click on YES TERMINATE THIS ACCOUNT.
Step 10. Again, enter your EMAIL ADDRESS.
Step 11. And finally, click on YES TERMINATE THIS ACCOUNT to permanently delete your account.
