The MTN Foundation Scholarship in Nigeria is a program established by the MTN Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of MTN Nigeria, to provide financial support to eligible Nigerian students who are pursuing undergraduate degrees in any recognized Nigerian university.

To be eligible for the MTN Foundation Scholarship in Nigeria, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be a full-time undergraduate student in any accredited Nigerian university
- Have a minimum cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.5 or its equivalent
- Be in their second year of study or above
- Have a valid and active MTN line
- Have a valid email address and a valid identification document (e.g. International passport, Voter’s Card, National ID or Driver’s License)
The application process typically opens in September and runs for several weeks. Applicants are required to complete an online application form and upload supporting documents such as their academic transcripts, proof of admission into a Nigerian university, and a passport photograph.
Shortlisted candidates are invited for an assessment test, which is followed by an interview for successful candidates.
Successful applicants are awarded a scholarship worth N200,000 per academic year until the completion of their degree program, subject to maintaining a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or its equivalent.
