Studies has shown that  people who take more oranges are likely not to suffer any of the following diseases:

1. Type 1 Diabetes: This is because of the presence of high-fiber in orange.  So, high-fiber diets  lowers blood glucose levels while type 2 diabetics can improve blood sugar, lipids and insulin.

2. Stroke:  Generally, people who take highest amounts of citrus are more likely not having ischemic stroke
